Former West Bengal CM Buddhadeb Bhattacharya admitted to hospital
Former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya on Friday evening has been admitted to Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital Limited, in Kolkata.

Former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya on Friday evening has been admitted to Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital Limited, in Kolkata. As per reports, the former West Bengal CM had complained of respiratory trouble following which he was admitted to the private hospital in Kolkata. He has been kept at the ICU. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee appeared to have reached the hospital in Kolkata to check on the health condition of the former CM.

Earlier in August, West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar had called on the former West Bengal CM to pay him regards and wish good health. Jagdeep Dhankar had wished Buddhadeb Bhattacharya speedy recovery. Bhattacharya ruled West Bengal from 2000 to 2011. He is 75 years old.
