Four new cases of COVID-19 in Pondy, tally touches 37

Four new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Puducherry on Saturday pushing the aggregate to 37.

Four new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Puducherry on Saturday pushing the aggregate to 37.

Director of Health and Family Welfare Services S Mohan Kumar told PTI that the present tally of active cases in the Union Territory is 37 while there were no active cases in Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam regions as of now.

The four patients now admitted to the hospital here included a pregnant woman.

There were 35 cases on Friday and two of them were discharged bringing down the active cases to 33 and now with admission of four patients the figure has shot up to 37.

The total patients discharged so far here were 24.
