Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir lashed out at former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi after the latter announced that he would be taking part in a series of programs to express 'solidarity' with the people of Kashmir. Ever since the abrogation of Article 370 in India, Pakistan has been tirelessly attempting to garner global attention towards Kashmir alongside spreading fake news about unrest and disharmony in the region. Popular Pakistani figures such as former cricketer Javed Miandad and British boxer Amir Khan have visited the Line of Control (LoC) recently and Shahid Afridi is the latest to join them. Pakistan PM Imran Khan has been running pillar to post ever since Article 370 was abrogated and has made extreme attempts along with his government to spread fake news about unrest in Jammu and Kashmir despite the Government of India assuring peace and prosperity in the valley.

Gautam Gambhir lashes out at Shahid Afridi

Shahid Afridi had earlier taken to Twitter to announce that he was in sync with Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's call for Pakistanis to stand in solidarity with the people of Kashmir and listed out a series of programs that he was going to take part in. Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir lashed out at Shahid Afridi, as he took to post a tweet that would have probably left Afridi stinging. Gautam Gambhir posted a picture of Shahid Afridi and his recent tweet and claimed at Shahid Afridi was asking himself as to how to embarrass himself next. Gambhir termed Shahid Afridi as a person who refused to grow up and offered to buy Afridi online child tutorials for his help.  Here's what Gautam Gambhir had to say to Shahid Afridi:

Shahid Afridi to visit LoC to express 'solidarity'

With Pakistan's attempts to get international intervention via the United Nations have failed miserably, it is now using other tactics to garner global attention towards Kashmir. Just days after boxer Amir Khan visited the LoC, former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi took to Twitter to reveal that he was planning to visit the LoC soon. Shahid Afridi rallied for people to support Pakistan PM Imran Khan's call to 'show solidarity' with the people of Kashmir and said that he will also be visiting the house of a 'martyr' on September 6. It has become a trend in Pakistan ever since the abrogation of Article 370 to spread fake news about civil unrest and oppression in Kashmir even though there is no proof to suggest the same. Pakistan has also been exposed recently for pushing and promoting fake news in order to create unrest and misinform people about the happenings in Kashmir. Here's what Shahid Afridi had to say about Kashmir:
