Gautam Gambhir expressing his views and thoughts on Twitter is something Twitterati have witnessed over the past few years. The former Indian cricketer is a vocal voice, when it comes to the social media website.
On a number of occasions, he has strongly opined on the social media, be it about any subject. And on Saturday, he openly let go of his frustrations regarding the sad state in the National Capital.
Taking to Twitter, the 2007 World T20 and 2011 World Cup winner slammed the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress party, blaming them for the problems people face in Delhi.
"I am Delhi. Shivering on the footpath, I am Delhi. Crawling in hospitals, I am Delhi. Fighting with the system, I am Delhi. Counting my breath in the bitter air, I am Delhi. Hiding my nakedness behind a muffler, saffron and Khadi, I am Delhi," he wrote.
But on Sunday, AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj responded to Gambhir's tweet, issuing a challenge to the former Indian skipper to visit the hospitals, night shelters at night and see the conditions for himself.
Along with him, AAP's social media in-charge Ankit Lal and National media coordinator Vikas Yogi also challenged the former cricketing superstar.
