The Goa state government offers bumper lotteries on a weekly and monthly basis. The Goa state allows the buying and selling of lotteries in the state to provide its people with an opportunity to try their luck. After the Supreme Court's ban on selling of lotteries in India, there are only 13 states which are allowed to conduct legal lotteries. The ban on lotteries has been imposed due to gambling addiction and social stigma, which comes along with it.

Goa State Lottery is one of the 13 legal lotteries in India. The ticket prices for a single ticket varies from ₹5-₹10. The first prize for the lottery is ₹20.02 lakhs. The results for the lottery are drawn thrice. The revenue collected through the selling of the lottery tickets is used to provide better infrastructure and facilities to the Goan population.

• Rajshree Day Lottery is drawn at 4:00 PM
• Rajshree Evening Lottery is drawn at 8:00 PM

The Rajshree Lottery for 4 pm has different games every day of the week. The names of the games are as follows:

• Rajshree Ganga Weekly Lottery which happens every Monday
• Rajshree Kaveri Weekly Lottery which happens every Tuesday
• Rajshree Gomati Weekly Lottery which happens every Wednesday
• Rajshree Tapi Weekly Lottery which happens every Thursday
• Rajshree Hugli Weekly Lottery which happens every Friday
• Rajshree Tapti Weekly Lottery which happens every Saturday
