Goa sees 540 COVID-19 cases, 1 death, 167 recoveries

Goa's coronavirus caseload went up by 540 and reached 61,779 on Saturday, while the death toll rose by one and the recovery count by 167, an official said.

The state's toll stands at 846 and the number of people discharged so far is 56,964, leaving it with 3,969 active cases, he added.

With 2,960 samples being examined on Saturday, the number of tests in Goa went up to 5,69,832, the official added.

Goa's COVID-19 figures are as follows: Positive cases 61,779, new cases 540, death toll 846, discharged 56,964, active cases 3969, samples tested till date 5,66,872.
