The suspense over the government formation in Maharashtra continues to remain even 13 days after the election results. Amid the speculations, Senior BJP leader Sudhir Mungantiwar on Wednesday assured that 'good news will arrive any moment'.
"There will be good news any moment over the government formation in Maharashtra," BJP leader Mungantiwar informed the media outside the Government Guest House at Sahyadri.

"There will be a government of BJP-Shiv Sena only. We all will work together for farmers and our alliance will form the government," he said after attending a meeting called to discuss farmer problems in the state.
While addressing the media, Mungantiwar said that he welcomed the statement by Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar, where he had stated that his party and it's alliance partner Congress, have received a mandate to sit in the opposition. Sharad Pawar in his statement had also asked for BJP-Shiv Sena to immediately form its government.
Earlier in the day, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had called for a meeting with the guardian ministers of all districts. The meeting was also attended by the Cabinet Ministers, for the first time since the assembly elections in the state, Shiv Sena Minister were also present during the meeting.
The State's Union Minister for Human Resource and Development Sanjay Shamrao Dhotre has once again reiterated that Devendra Fadnavis will once again be the Chief Minister in Maharashtra.
During the 2019 assembly polls, the BJP had emerged as the single largest party by winning 105 seats, whereas, Shiv Sena won 56 seats in the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly.
