A man from Delhi took his marriage vows even after being shot. 

The groom who was reaching his wedding venue on a chariot was shot by two gunmen in New Delhi. He managed to return to take his vows just hours after his surgery. 

The unidentified gunmen amalgamated themselves with the guests at the wedding, dancing at the street procession. The 25-year old groom made his way to the procession on a chariot and was shot on his shoulder.

He was rushed to the hospital, where although the doctors were able to halt the bleeding, they could not remove the bullet without a minor surgery. 

Police reports said that the pair of attackers climbed the chariot, fired at him and escaped the site amid the chaos and panic. The bullet was stuck between his shoulder bones. 
Bandaged post his doctor’s visit, the groom returned three hours later to his bride and performed the wedding rituals, clearly not letting the bullets damage his wedding day. 

Back in November, at an Indian wedding in Uttar Pradesh’s Shikohabad, a wedding organiser was supposedly shot dead in a celebratory firing. Jatav, the wedding organiser was managing the caterers at the time of the incidence.

In April, in another incident, a video surfaced where a groom in Uttar Pradesh was shot at close range on his wedding day. The 25-year old was celebrating the occasion with his folks when the bullet struck him in the chest. 

The groom looked at the shooter, before he fires again for the second time, clutching his chest. Reports suggest that the man had absconded, but the incident is still unclear if its an accident or intentional shooting.
