HEART IN MOUTH: Chilling moment as man miraculously survives after falling between moving train and platform, video goes viral

In an undated video that is going viral, a man survived a potentially horrific accident after slipping between the moving train and platform at Jharsuguda station in Odisha. The footage was caught on CCTV fixed on the station. The video that is doing rounds on social media shows Mr Talwar getting off the train to buy a cup of tea but as he approaches his slowly departing train and attempts to jump on board, he stumbles and falls.

Mr Talwar is then dragged along the platform for a few seconds, slowly falling between the train and platform as people watch in shock. In the seconds after he starts to fall a second man moves to help. But by the time, Mr Talwar has disappeared from view.

The train, which continued to move forward for a few seconds, was then halted and security personnel deployed at the station rushed to rescue him. The rescued Mr Talwar then boarded the same train and continued on his journey.

In another incident, a young woman was seen narrowly escaping death despite falling off a running suburban train in Mumbai. But thanks to some quick reactions by fellow passengers, the woman was prevented from falling on the tracks. In the footage, the girl is seen travelling on the footboard of a local train in Mumbai with earphones on. She is seen adjusting her clothing a few times, but when a train passes by on a parallel track she suddenly slips and falls. Commuters standing near the door are grabbing hold of her hands and pulling her back on the train. She is then pulled into the train seemingly unscathed where she collapses.
