November 14 not only marks Children's Day but it also marks the birthday of the first Prime Minister Of India, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. Pandit Nehru was born in 1889 in Allahabad to renowned lawyer Motilal Nehru and Swaruprani Thussu.

Pandit Nehru is an alumnus of the famous Trinity College, Cambridge and completed in graduation in natural science in 1910. Nehru started his career as a lawyer at Allahabad High Court but later joined politics in the Indian National Congress in the early 1920's.
