Horrific gangrape of specially-abled woman in Rajasthan's Jodhpur

A horrific gangrape has taken place in Rajasthan's Jodhpur, where three people brutalised a specially-abled woman and then left her unclothed at the area of the Mandore police station.

A horrific gangrape has taken place in Rajasthan's Jodhpur, where three people brutalised a specially-abled woman and then left her unclothed at the area of the Mandore police station.

As per inputs, the crime originated in near Jodhpur when the victim took the lift from a truck driver, who, along with two others, raped her. 

The victim boarded the Mandore express train from Delhi and was travelling towards Jodhpur but she apparently alighted the train some stations before Jodhpur and took a lift in the truck to the city, following which the truck driver gangraped her with two others and left her at the Lala Agar area.

Passerbys saw her in the vicinity and called '108' ambulances by which she was admitted to the MGH hospital. After being informed, the police came to the spot and started their investigation.

Police said after the initial investigation that the victim was a native of Jharkhand's Bokaro area. She reportedly had a fight with her husband in Delhi, due to which she went to her maternal house first and from there she took the train to Jodhpur, during which the heinous crime took place.

Police also ordered a detailed medical examination of the victim from which more details of the incident could be ascertained but in the initial medical details police has found many injuries on her body.

The police registered a case in the matter and are trying to get the victim's statement. They will take further action according to the statement. The police is also interrogating eyewitnesses in the case and on that basis, plan to take further action.
