On the eve of the magnificent ‘Howdy Modi’ event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the opportunity to introduce the President of the United States of America to 50,000 plus audience present in the NRG Stadium. While introducing US President Donald Trump, PM Modi said that the American President needs no introduction and his name is familiar to every person on the planet.
Adding further, the PM said that the American President’s name comes up in every conversation and is followed by tens of millions. He was a household name and very popular even before he went on to occupy the highest office in America. The Indian Prime Minister went on to elaborate the works and posts that Donald Trump handled prior to becoming the President of the United States of America.
"From CEO to Commander in Chief, from board rooms to the Oval Office, from studios to global stage, from politics to the economy and security. He has left a deep and lasting impact everywhere. Today he is here with us. It is my honor and privilege to welcome here in this magnificent stadium and gathering. And I can say, I had a chance to meet him often, and every time I found the same friendliness warmth and energy. The President of the United States of America... Mr. Donald Trump", PM Modi said.
Appending further, Prime Minister Modi said that the event is extraordinary and unprecedented.
The Indian Prime Minister's admiration towards the American President was clear when he said that he admires the President for his sense of leadership, a passion for America, concern for every American, a belief in American future and a strong resolve to make America great again. Prime Minister Modi also said that Trump has already made the American economy strong again and has achieved much for the United States and for the world. Friends we in India have connected well with President Trump.
With a strong resolve for the Indian and American partnership, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this time will be Trump's government again and asserted “Abki Baar Trump Sarkaar”. The Prime Minister also recalled his first meet with Donald Trump and added that Trump had assured him of his friendship with India.
When I met him for the first time, he said to me, India has a true friend in White House and his presence here today is a testimony of that, PM Modi recalled.
