Teenage sensation Sparsh Shah spoke to Republic TV on Saturday ahead of the mega-event 'Howdy, Modi'. Shah who will represent the special needs Voice of Specially Abled People, a non-profit at the prestigious event hosted in the honour of PM Narendra Modi said he hoped to meet the Prime Minister. He also had a message for PM Modi and shared his wish for Indians with special needs. Watch the full video above.

Sparsh Shah's message for PM Modi

"One thing I would definitely like to tell him is that - I am blessed with the position I have today, because America is very accessible, to allow people like me to come out and unlock our true potential. I also know big strides are being made in making India a better place for people with special needs. I want to help PM Modi to empower those people and work towards these goals," he said. 

He will be singing the anthem in front of a 50,000 audience along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of United States of America Donald Trump. After speaking to Republic TV, Sparsh also sang Shankar Mahadevan's 'Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walo' for the channel. Born with a genetic disorder, Osteogenesis Imperfecta or brittle bone disease, Sparsh has been a child prodigy owing to his ability to sing beautifully diverse genre of music. He had earlier spoken to Republic TV in 2018 when he had become an internet sensation.

Sparsh Shah, the child prodigy 

Shah is a singer, songwriter, rapper and inspirational speaker residing in New Jersey, USA. He has already performed live more than 125 times including a performance at the Madison Square Garden and Berkley Centre. Furthermore, he has toured 6 countries, winning a plethora of awards including the ‘Global Indian Award’. Shah has been a part of shows like ‘Little Big Shots’ and ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. He has expressed his desire to win the Grammy award. A documentary named ‘Brittle Bone Rapper’ released in March 2018 focused on Shah’s life journey and his fight against osteogenesis imperfecta, a disease characterized by fragile bones that can break easily.

Houston Mayor on 'Howdy, Modi'

Republic TV's Editor Niranjan Narayanaswamy on Saturday spoke to Houston's Mayor Sylvester Turner in Texas, US ahead of 'Howdy, Modi!'.He spoke about a number of things connected to the event. He said that the event was as big as the Super Bowl, a huge sporting event and spectacle in the United States. He also spoke about the scope of improving ties between India and the city of Houston. He said that the city and the organisers had planned the event in detail and that he would not miss the event at any cost.
