PM Narendra Modi on Thursday shared a post of the Independence Day event at Red Fort in New Delhi. The Prime Minister had delivered a speech at 7.30 am where he spoke about a host of issues concerning the nation, after hoisting the national flag at the Red Fort.
Ahead of his Independence Day address, he will be paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at the Rajghat at 7 am. PM Modi had taken to Twitter in the morning to wish Indians on Independence Day. He later also posted on Instagram the pictures with the caption 'Here are some glimpses from the celebrations in Delhi this morning'.
During his address, PM Modi spoke about the recent revocation of Article 370 to population explosion, from Triple Talaq to water conservation, and many other issues.
PM Narendra Modi had also posted the pictures on micro-blogging platform Twitter.
