INCORRIGIBLE: Navjot Singh Sidhu repeats shameful remark against forces, says 'You were supposed to take revenge on terrorists, not on trees and hills'

Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu on Tuesday continues to brazenly pose questions over the Indian Air Force's airstrike on JeM terrorists inhabiting on Pakistani soil even after IAF Chief BS Dhanoa confirmed the Air Force hit its target, as intended, silencing Opposition over the actions of the forces. 

A day after he took Pakistan's line and demanded proof of the air strike on terrorists by asking a derogatory question to the forces on whether "they uprooted terrorists or trees", Punjab Congress leader Sidhu once again posted a tweet, only now raising the top institutions including CBI, RBI and RAW. In a tweet on Tuesday, Sidhu targeted PM Modi and elevated the institutions, saying 'the revenge of sacrifice of the soldiers was to be taken from the terrorists and not the trees and mountains'. 

He wrote, "Army is as sacred as the state! After politicising RBI, CBI, and RAW, don't shoot the arrow of politics from the shoulders of the sacred Army. The sacrifices of the soldiers was to be avenged from the terrorists and not the trees and mountains. Press Conference of the judiciary's resentment was unprecedented."

On Monday, taking to Twitter, Sidhu had asked for the 'proof that terrorists were killed' in India's precision bombing on the JeM-LeT-HM joint terror factory in Balakot and in other places across the LoC, but in a far more derogatory way, including the mention - "were you uprooting terrorists or trees?"

Furthermore, senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh also demanded the Centre to present evidence of the air strike on terrorist camps in Balakot, Pakistan. He also went onto "congratulate" Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for the release of IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. Later on Tuesday, the former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister resorted to strike politics by terming the Pulwama terror attack as an "accident".

Taking to Twitter, he demanded the government to reveal the number of terrorists that were killed in the IAF's airstrike.

Amid Congress politicising the terror attack, IAF Chief BS Dhanoa addressed a press briefing in Coimbatore on Monday and confirmed that the Air Force hit its target, as intended.

"The target has been completely amplified by the Foreign Secretary, and of course, if we plan to hit the target, we hit the target. Otherwise, why would he have responded? If we had dropped bombs in the jungle, there is no need for him to respond", Air Force Chief BS Dhanoa said.
