Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, a children's rights activist, shared the stories of liberation on the occasion of Independence Day. 

In a tweet, Satyarthi said that he asked the children who were recently rescued from 'slavery' the meaning of freedom. In response to which the children shared their idea of freedom and what it meant to them. 

Satyarthi, the founder of Bachpan Bachao Andolan, has been at the front of children's rights activism. The 65-year-old activist has extensively campaigned against child labour and advocated for their right to education. His endeavors to curb child trafficking is largely documented. In 2014, Kailash Satyarthi was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize jointly with Malala Yousafzai and since has been one of the most globally active activists and known faces campaigning for Human Rights.
