Young Indian talents performed to A. R. Rahman's 'Maa Tujhe Salaam' and the soulful rendition of the same is overwhelming indeed. While two of them took up the microphone, the rest of them aced several musical instruments delivering a praiseworthy performance.

2. ITBP Jawan Lovely Singh Recreates Border's Iconic Song 'Sandese Aate Hai'

Ahead of the 73rd Independence Day, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Jawan Lovely Singh dedicated a heartwarming song from the film 'Border' to the brave hearts of the ITBP. Singh recreated the much-celebrated song titled 'Sandese Aate Hai' which narrates the emotions of a soldier who guard out territories at the borders, risking their lives, living far away from his family and friends. Doordarshan aired the music video which captured the rigorous lifestyle of the armed forces.

6. Prominent artists from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh sing National Anthem

Eminent artists from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh have come together to voice the Indian National Anthem, as the state, now union territories, celebrate their first Independence day post the abrogation of Article 370 & 35A. The song is a beautiful amalgamation of 11 voices, which celebrated integrated India. Ashoke Pandit shared the music video on Twitter, which has been widely shared on the micro-blogging site thereafter.
