BJP Ladakh MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal who became a household name in the country following his impassioned speech during the discussion on Jammu-Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill, 2019 in the Lok Sabha, had wished the nation on the occasion of Independence Day on Thursday. Now he has taken the internet by storm by his graceful dance moves celebrating I-Day in Leh.
As seen in the video, the lawmaker is seen leading the queue of dancers with fluid hand gestures and soft footwork.
The Lok Sabha's Member of Parliament had earlier led his people in celebrating the reorganisation of the Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories - Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. He also took the opportunity to spread the message of conserving the environment by not using crackers to celebrate. In a tweet, he said, 'the residents believe firmly in the principal of environmental conservation. Following this norm, they have taken a pledge of no crackers even for the celebrations.
