He stated that, “We are doing everything in our power and taking every measure possible to ensure that there is peace and prosperity in the Jammu and Kashmir region and from the Pakistan side they are trying everything to disrupt the peace. Today too, inside Pakistan there are terrorist infrastructure and the running of terrorist camps from where they are continuously trying to send infiltrators. They try to provide them with weapons and further they also try to provide them with whatever they need including weaponised drones. It is just another measure they applied by them but I would like to assure that no matter what Pakistan does we will be there to stop them.”
The Lt. General further talking about the terrorists that are trying to infiltrate the country with the help of the ISI and the Pakistani Army stated that “as far the question of Jammu and Kashmir goes and as I have stated before inside our area there are about 200 to 300 terrorists who have entered and they are associated with terrorism. In the same way, the terrorist camps that are present in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir train about 500 people and are ready for infiltration.”
The Lt. General added that these figures change, “these figures are just approximate figures and it continuously changes. Some people get deradicalised and this causes the number to vary.” Lt. Our warning is still intact if anybody from the other side of the Line of Control (LoC) tries to enter in India."
"Along with the support of Pakistan some people try to cross the LoC and come inside India. We will give them a befitting reply."
"Our plan on this issue is very clear and our soldiers on the LoC have also been given very clear orders. For instance, recently there were few people gathered on the Pakistani side, so the officials from there stopped them sent them back to their respective places. But if any such efforts will be taken from their side we will surely give them a befitting reply."
