Arjun Bansal, aged 35, is the Vice President of artificial intelligence software and research at the semiconductor giant Intel. The magazine stated that the semiconductor giant Intel has ‘a lot on his plate’. The team headed by Bansal has nearly 100 workers, scattered throughout the US, Israel and Poland. The team works on AI technologies like reinforcement learning and natural language processing in lieu of keeping Intel’s silicon chips working with the latest AI software, according to the magazine. One of Intel's key AI projects involves specialised computer chips developed by Nirvana. The company further expanded, tapping into Southeast Asia’s blooming internet connectivity and smartphone adoption. The company's latest round of funding in February led by Sequoia Capital and Temasek Holdings valued the firm with 600 employees spread across eight countries at $970 million.
