"India's 'last village'": This latest entry to Anand Mahindra's travel bucket list has left him "intrigued"

Anand Mahindra's crowd-sourced travel "bucket list" continues to grow, with many on Twitter sending him suggestions. The Chairman of Mahindra Group, started a hashtag called #OffTheBeatenTrack where he requests his close to seven million followers to tell him about unexplored and unique places to visit.

The latest entry to this list seems to have taken the cake.

A Twitter user, Akshay Varma, posted a picture of Chitkul village which is near Indo-China border in Spiti valley. He said that it is popularly known as India's last village. This intrigued Mahindra who wrote back saying, "India’s ‘last village’...Intriguing title... #OffTheBeatenTrack Bucket list..."

Mahindra also retweeted a few other suggestions for his #OffTheBeatenTrack list.
