"Interesting to see..", Here's what Anand Mahindra has to say on PM Modi's request on water conservation in his Mann Ki Baat address

Moments after Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged citizen to make water conservation a 'jan andolan' (people's movement),  Business tycoon Anand Mahindra said that it will be interesting to see the outcome of his appeal. 

Taking to Twitter,  Mahindra owner said that when a leader who has received a strong mandate makes a plea to 1.2 billion people, the outcome will be interesting to watch. He then added that change in habit of people can result in big difference. He said that inculcating habit to save small quantities of water will have enormous impact on aggregate water reserves.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday June 30 addressed the nation in his second series of radio programme "Mann Ki Baat" and expressed his concern about the water problem in the country and shared the importance of the new Jal Shakti Ministry. He urged the people to make water conservation a national movement. 

Speaking on his program, PM Modi made three request to the people of the country while highlighting the problem of water in the nation. He appealed to the people of the country to create awareness on water conservation and said that people should revive the traditional method of water conservation. He also added that people should share about the organisations or NGOs which work towards water conservation.
