The nation is celebrating the revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir as well as the . However, a lot of the people in the region it concerns, Jammu and Kashmir, might not be able to witness it because the Internet services in the region have been temporarily suspended. In such a situation, a video of an Army officer assuring the youths of Jammu and Kashmir that everything is fine has surfaced.
In the video, sitting with the youths, the officer is seen asking the boys, “What are these restrictions, did you think about it or hear anything about it?”
One of the youths says that despite the Internet services being suspended, it hardly took a moment to know what’s going on, he said, “Sir, within two minutes, we come to know what’s happening and what going to happen. The Internet is shut, but within 2 minutes, we can know about what is happening by turning on the TV.”
The officer then asked, “So what did you see?”
The youth then said, “We came to know what is going on, about our situation.”
The Army officer then assured, “There is nothing wrong with the situation, everything is fine, and that’s how it should be.”

The Internet services were suspended as a precautionary measure late on Sunday. There was a credible threat from the LoC as per assessment by Intelligence agencies. In a confrontation, four Border Action Team members from the Pakistan Army were killed by the Indian Forces.
On Monday, it the Rajya Sabha passed a statutory resolution to revoke Article 370, that gave Jammu and Kashmir special status, as well as the J&K Reorganisation Bill, 2019. The Jammu and Kashmir bill was finally passed by the Lok Sabha with 351 voting for it and 72 against the bill on Tuesday.
