As Home Minister Amit Shah proposed revocation of Artcile 370 that exempts Jammu and Kashmir from following Indian Constitution, baffled Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan has called Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad to apprise him of the recent developments in the Kashmir.
Pakistan has also called for crucial meetings. Earlier, interfering in India's domestic decision, Islamabad "rejected" the announcement to scrap the special provision for Jammu and Kashmir. In a statement, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said that Jammu and Kashmir is an "internationally recognised disputed territory." Further added, "As the party to this international dispute, Pakistan will exercise all possible options to counter the illegal steps. Pakistan reaffirms its abiding commitment to the Kashmir cause." Now a number of crucial meetings has been called.

Here are the details of all the meeting:
- First meeting: Pakistan's president Arif Alvi summoned joint session of Parliament on Tuesday. The joint sitting, to be held at 11 am (local time) on Tuesday. It is said that the session will review the tense situation in Jammu and Kashmir and along the Line of Control. It will also suggest the government a plan of action to deal with the fallout of India's decision.
- Second meeting: Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa will hold a meeting of the Corps Commanders and discuss the security situation even as India exposed the attempts of Pakistan to attack Kashmir. In a joint press brief,Chinar Corps Commander Lt General KJS Dhillon and J&K DGP Dilbag Singh in Srinagar on Friday revealed that they had intelligence inputs that there were attempts of attacks on Amarnath Yatra by Pakistan and that they had recovered IEDs and US made Sniper rifle in the route of the Amarnath Yatra. Indian government has deployed 38,000 paramilitary troops in the Kashmir valley.
- Third meeting: The Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir would meet in Islamabad to discuss the latest situation.
