J&K's Article 370 to go, these 5 signs tell us how spooked Pakistan is

Pakistan was quick to meddle in India's domestic issue, by attempting to treat the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir by Home Minister Amit Shah as an issue of foreign policy.  

Apart from Islamabad, and the Pakistani politicians, the media of the neighbouring country has also been trying to propel a selective narrative by shooting off Congress' Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mehbooba Mufti's shoulder to attack India.

Here's how Pakistan reacted in the past few days over India's Kashmir issue:

Pakistan issues a desperate statement

Interfering in India's domestic decision, Islamabad "rejected" the announcement to scrap the special provision for Jammu and Kashmir. 

In a statement, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said that Jammu and Kashmir is an "internationally recognised disputed territory." 

Further added, "As the party to this international dispute, Pakistan will exercise all possible options to counter the illegal steps. Pakistan reaffirms its abiding commitment to the Kashmir cause."

Pakistan Foreign Minister met with PoK Prime Minister 

On Monday, Pakistan Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi 'condemned and rejected' announcements made by the government, and ran for cover by citing to seek 'help' for the US delegation and the international community. 

On Saturday, as military tensions fumed on the LoC, and Kashmir on Saturday, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi met with PoK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider. 

Pak PM Imran Khan held a meet with National Security Committee

Pakistan PM Imran Khan summoned a meeting with the National Security Committee on Sunday afternoon.

Along with that, the Foreign Minister asked the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Secretary-General Dr. Yousuf Ahmed Al-Othaimeen to take notice of the situation in Kashmir, state-run Radio Pakistan reported.

Refused to claim bodies of BAT intruders

The Indian Army on Saturday foiled the attempts of Pakistan's Border Action Team (BAT) on a forward post along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir, and killed five to seven intruders, as informed by a defence spokesman in Srinagar. 

In a major development, the Indian Army had offered Pakistan to take over the mortal remains of the 5-7 Pak BAT Army regulars/terrorists by approaching with a white flag. However, Pakistan refused to claim the bodies of their own Forces.

Pakistan President Arif Alvi's meeting

Pakistan President Arif Alvi summoned a joint session of the Parliament on Tuesday, hours after the PM Modi government on Monday abolished Article 370 of the Constitution.

The joint sitting will be held at 11 AM (Pakistan local time) to review the situation in Jammu & Kashmir and along the LoC. 

To tackle the law and order situation in the state, Army personnels were deployed, regional mainstream leaders NC leader Omar Abdullah, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and others were put on house arrest. Section 144 was imposed in the state, and network in certain places was obstructed.
