Republic TV has accessed explosive details, from sources, of Pakistan-backed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad's plot to disrupt peace in the valley on Saturday. Republic TV has learnt through sources that the terror group is mobilising its cadre in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.
Sources have said that Ibrahim Azhar (JeM chief Masood Azhar's brother) has resurfaced in PoK. As per sources, Pakistan army is trying to attack Indian security forces and Yatris using these terrorists. The sources said that fifteen JeM trained terrorists are stationed at launch pads near LoC in PoK at Markaz, Sanan Bin Salma, Tarnab Farm, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They have come to the launch pads having completed their 'Askari' training camps in Jamrud in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, sources said. They are believed to prepare for infiltration into Jammu and Kashmir, the sources added.
On Friday, in a press briefing, Indian Army had said that Pakistan and terror groups backed by it were planning to disrupt peace in the valley. The press briefing came after the Centre ordered the deployment of close 30,000 troops in the state. The Jammu and Kashmir government also issued a security advisory for travel on Friday following the development asking Amarnath Yatra pilgrims to cut short their visit and leave from the state as soon as possible. The Yatris were being airlifted from the valley since Friday as a precautionary measure.
The note accessed by Republic revealed Pakistan backed terror groups potential targets in Jammu and Kashmir. In the super explosive note by the Intelligence, accessed by Republic, it comes to the fore that the terror groups had planned to carry out attacks including suicide and IED attacks in multiple locations in J&K. Most of the plans had targetted the Indian security forces apart from Amarnath Yatris.
