Jawan killed by supercar brat was deployed as 'outer cordon in PMO and SPG protectees': CRPF

In a statement, the CRPF said that the Jawan who lost his life was deployed as outer cordon in Prime Minister Home, Prime Minister Office and the Special Protection Group.

In a statement, the CRPF said that the Jawan who lost his life was deployed as outer cordon in PMH, PMO and the SPG protectees. 

The statement further informed that the 34-year-old Jawan, Narender Khatik lost his life on Friday morning at AIIMS at 9:30 AM.

It ascertained that the Jawan got injured along with two other CRPF Jawans when they were going to their residence after completion of duty. CRPF notified that they will take care of the family and pay all dues and exgratia.

The statement read: Narender Khatik, 34-year-old resident of Alwar Dist died in AIIMS today morning around 0930 hrs. Yesterday night in a vehicle accident he got injured along with 2 other CRPF Personnel when they were going to their residence after completion of duty. He was posted in SDG (Special Duty Group) a specialised unit of CRPF deployed as outer cordon in PMH, PMO and SPG protectees. CRPF will take care of the family and pay all dues / exgratia admissible to him to NOK.

According to the Police, the collision occurred at South Delhi's Greater Kailash 1 after the teenager skipped the red light, hit the other car, climbed on the divider and stopped after hitting an electric pole. 

The injured were instantly shifted to the trauma center by the PCR staff, according to the Police. The disturbing visuals show both the cars were completely destroyed and dented. 

The incident occurred around 11 PM on Thursday. While further investigations are underway, as of now, the Police has said that the teenager was not under influence. 

The 19-year-old who studies in London was reportedly in India for a holiday and has been arrested under a bailable warrant. Bail has already been applied for the businessman's son.
