'JNU will have to be brought under AFSPA,' says Subramanian Swamy claiming university refused to allow his security in

On Friday, Dr. Swamy said that the university did not allow either the security provided to him by the government nor did it allow the Delhi Police to enter the campus. He said that the JNU does not want large number of students in his gathering as ít did not want to overshadow CPIs 'Karat's lecture. Following this, he said that the entire campus should be brought under AFSPA.

Alleging that the JNU did not allow him to bring in his security in the campus ahead of an event where he was scheduled to speak, Dr Subramanian Swamy has tweeted saying that the campus should be brought under AFSPA. 

On Friday, Dr Swamy said that the university did allow neither the security provided to him by the government nor did it allow the Delhi Police to enter the campus. He said that the JNU does not want large number of students in his gathering as ít did not want to overshadow CPIs 'Prakash Karat's lecture. Following this, he said that the entire campus should be brought under AFSPA. 

 

Dr Swamy will be speaking at the university at 4:00 PM on Friday on "Judiciary, Politics & Faith".

It seems the issue was resolved soon after he posted the series of tweets, as he tweeted again saying his security had granted permission to enter the campus.
