PM Narendra Modi gave a thunderous warning to those who want to spread terror and commit terror acts on India's soil. Hitting out at the Opposition for not acting against terror, he stressed upon the need for the eradication of terrorism and his government's commitment to act on it. 

He also warned terrorists and those involved in terrorism, he roared that he would go after them even after they have reached seventh circle of hell.

"If the previous government had the guts it would have avenged the terror attacks. The previous government did not do anything after the 26/11 attack. We must fight terrorism and work on uprooting it. But nothing has changed since 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Should we fight against terror or not?" he asked.

The gathering replies with a resounding "Yes".

"Which party can work against terror, tell me honestly?" the PM asked.

The crowd chants "Modi, Modi"

PM Modi then issued a final and direct warning to those who commit the act of terror on Indian soil.

"On one hand we punishing those who commit mistakes, and on the other hand we are honouring those who work honestly. Let me tell you one thing honestly, I will not even spare those who have gone to the seventh circle of hell," he said to thunderous applause.

Earlier on Monday, PM  Modi inaugurated Phase- I of the Ahmedabad Metro. Later, PM took a ride on the Metro along with Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitinbhai Patel and Union Minister of State for Housing & Urban Affairs, Hardeep Puri and young students.

PM’s recent ride comes close on the heels of him taking the Metro in Delhi on his way to the ISKCON Temple. The Prime Minister had visited the temple to unveil the world’s largest Bhagawad Gita on February 26.

PM Modi is currently on a two-day visit to the state, where he was born and brought up and served as Chief Minister for almost 13 years before becoming the PM. The PM had announced on Twitter about inaugurating the first phase of the Metro project. He had also announced about laying the foundation stone of the second phase.
