Expressing grief over the loss of four national hockey players in an accident in Madhya Pradesh's Hoshngabad, the state Chief Minister Kamal Nath, on Monday said that his prayers were with the families of the bereaved. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. He further directed authorities to aid those who were injured and offered help to the families of the bereaved.

रैसलपुर, होशंगाबाद में ध्यानचंद्र ट्राफी में खेलने जा रहे हॉकी खिलाड़ी शाहनवाज खान,आदर्श हरदुआ,आशीष लाल व अनिकेत की सड़क दुर्घटना में मौत का दुःखद समाचार मिला। ईश्वर से प्रार्थना है कि वे दिवंगत आत्माओं को शांति, परिजनों को यह दुःख सहने की शक्ति दें व घायलों को शीघ्र स्वस्थ करें।

4 hockey people lose lives in accident
Earlier in the day, four national-level hockey players lost their lives when the car in which they were travelling met with an accident in Madhya Pradesh's Hoshangabad. The four hockey players lost their lives, and three others suffered injuries, the police said in the matter. As per news agency PTI, the hockey players were travelling from Itarsi to Hoshangabad in Madhya Pradesh to play in the Dhyan Chandra Trophy when their car met with an accident near Raisalpur village on National Highway 69. Meanwhile, the police are verifying the identities of the deceased and injured in the accident.
