After meeting Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Sunday morning, the family of the deceased Hindu Samaj Party chief Kamlesh Tiwari expressed their satisfaction on the outcome of the interaction. According to the sources, it was revealed that they had a meaningful discussion with the UP CM, where all their demands were agreed upon. The family members also complimented the police for their investigation. Maintaining that she considered Adityanath as her elder son, Tiwari’s mother stated that they wanted an assurance from him to nab the culprits. When the latter gave a commitment that the accused would be punished, she opined that this was more than enough for the family. Meanwhile, Tiwari’s wife noted that the UP CM had also conceded to their demand for capital punishment for the murderers.

Gujarat ATS arrests three suspects

As per sources, Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) DIG Himanshu Shukla on Saturday revealed that all three suspects who were detained, confessed to the crime. Sources report that the Gujarat police spoke to the brother of the conspirators who had allegedly asked Tiwari for an opportunity to work with him, before his murder. Two other suspects are on the radar of the police. In a press conference held in Lucknow, UP Director-General of Police (DGP) OP Singh gave a prima facie observation that Tiwari's murder has been a radical killing. He contended that the suspected killers were allegedly radicalised by a speech that the Hindu Samaj Party delivered in 2015.
