After West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti played the blame game with the Centre over the Pulwama terror attack, Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy has joined in on the politicking over the dastardly incident.

The chief minister and JD(S) leader has batted for discussion with Pakistan and also said India needs to have mutual cooperation with the country, despite Jaish-e-Mohammed which is backed by Pakistan claiming responsibility for the terror attack.

Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has also indirectly hit out at PM Modi over the Pulwama attack.

"We won't get a solution by making announcements. HD Deve Gowda recently said that during his term a massacre of this scale didn't occur. Why such incidents never took place during that time? There was a mutual understanding that time, why isn't it there now? There should be a discussion on it. We won't get a solution by just making announcements and emotional speeches saying 'I'm as angry as you'. There should be mutual cooperation and a dandam dashagunam attitude," he said.
