A day after Gurcharan Singh, member of once banned Dal Khalsa, claimed that his group had campaigned and funded Aam Aadmi Party during the Punjab elections 2017, Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi has come out and quoted Ex DGP of Punjab KPS Gill and has questioned AAP on Khalistan links. Hitting out at the AAP party, he also stated that 'Congress Party had to make several sacrifices to curb the Khalistani terrorism'.

Earlier on Wednesday, the sting investigation conducted by Republic TV in Britain exposed a number of major revelations regarding the 'Break India' movement undertaken by the forces of Khalistani group. On Wednesday afternoon, the country got to know the malicious intent of these organizations.

One of the biggest points which came out from the investigation was that Gurcharan Singh, member of once banned Dal Khalsa, claimed that his group had campaigned, and even funded Aam Aadmi Party during the Punjab elections 2017.

And later in the day, during the Debate at 10 with Republic TV's editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami, the same man confirmed the words he said during the sting operation. Gurcharan, upon being asked if the groups did fund the AAP, said,

"Aam Aadmi Party was just a tool. It was a meaningless tool. It is an irrelevant party. Aam Aadmi Party is an irrelevant party brought in Punjab by rogue. We used the AAP as tool to expose the political system and Electoral machines. AAP got 90 seats in Punjab. We used them as a tool to expose how fraud the electoral system is in the state."

When pressed about whether he actually funded and campaigned for the party, he mentioned "I am not denying it, I am not denying it. We used them as tool. I am not denying it. The whole system is fraud."

In the sting video, which was conducted by Republic TV's Shawan Sen, Gurcharan revealed shocking facts, with the support to AAP as one of them. He had said, ""Look at Punjab. AAP won the elections. They won 95 seats. We were on the ground. Campaigning for the party. We funded the party to see what a campaign makes a difference. And it does make a difference. People voted for AAP. They did not win because of the evm."

He further went onto add that AAP was a meaningless party, and the group's motive was something else. "Aam Aadmi Party is nothing. Its a vessel. It means nothing, it stands for nothing. Thing was, do you know what it was? To counter...To upset the political forces in Punjab. And see how it happens," Gurcharan added.
