Suspended BJP MP from Bihar's Darbhanga, Kirti Azad on Monday has hit out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the construction of world's tallest Lord Ram statue in Ayodhya and stated that constructing a statue of Lord Ram without Goddess Sita will be not only an insult of the goddess but of the entire female population.

Taking it to Twitter, Kirti Azad, who got suspended from BJP in 2015, wrote 'erecting Lord Rama's statue at Ayodhya without goddess Sita is not only her insult but of Mithila and the entire female population':

As Ayodhya is taking the centre stage with many parties pushing the government for the construction of Ram Temple, five architect firms gave a presentation before UP CM Yogi Adityanath providing a blueprint for the construction of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. The statue would be 221-metre tall, that will make it the tallest structure in the world.
