It appears that Indian politicians on Twitter are just like the commoners they rule over, except for the immense privileges they enjoy.
Several Indian leaders use Twitter suited to their political agenda, they often end up making comments and remarks unsuitable to their stature.
Many often have casual banters and even meaningless conversation leading to no real implications.
One such example is the Twitter conversation between TRS leader KT Rama Rao and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah.
Omar Abdullah is one of the very few politicians to be quite vocal on Twitter on several issues.
On Thursday, the National Conference leader tweeted a photo of an idyllic house in a snow-clad region and called it his home.
The beautiful picture got praises in the comments and was retweeted by many.
One person who retweeted the post was Telangana politician KT Rama Rao.
Commenting on the post he said, If only there was a wish-granting factory, I’d have one right there; somewhere closer
Abdullah was quick to reply to KTR and make a generous offer on the social media platform inviting the Telangana politician could treat his home as his own and stay anytime he wished.
KTR quipped saying he would grab that offer.
Like mentioned earlier, politicians often have silly banter on Twitter.
In November, Abdullah and his counterpart in the PDP had a fun meme exchange.
A huge political slugfest had broken out in the state of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday after Governor Satya Pal Malik decided to dissolve the assembly, quashing hopes of the newly-formed alliance of PDP, NC and Congress from forming the government.
Following that PDP's Mehbooba Mufti and NC's Omar Abdullah, enemy turned friends, indulged in a hilarious meme exchange, which has taken the internet by storm.
