Kulbhushan Jadhav Verdict | Union Ministers Smriti Irani and Nirmala Sitharaman hail Harish Salve, PM Modi and Sushma Swaraj after India's big win at the ICJ
Following the International Court of Justice (ICJ) verdict in the high profile Kulbhushan Jadhav case on Wednesday wherein India was handed a big win and Pakistan dealt a dressing down over its sham kangaroo military quasi-judiciary, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani welcomed the international court's order.

Following the International Court of Justice (ICJ) verdict in the high profile Kulbhushan Jadhav case on Wednesday wherein India was handed a big win and Pakistan dealt a dressing down over its sham kangaroo military quasi-judiciary, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani welcomed the international court's order.
Moments after the ICJ stayed Pakistan's death sentence for Kulbhushan Jadhav and ordered a review and reconsideration, along with ordering Pak to grant India consular access, Smriti Irani and Nirmala Sitharaman appreciated the big win that India garnered in the highly-sensitive life-and-death case involving India and Pakistan. Both leaders took to Twitter and expressed happiness. Smriti Irani said that the verdict has brought relief to the family of Jadhav. Along with Smriti Irani's tweet, Nirmala Sitharaman too expressed her gratitude for the consistent efforts taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She also extended her appreciation to senior counsel Harish Salve for giving his best at the Hague. In addition, she also thanked Sushma Swaraj, the Former External Affairs Minister, for pursuing the case relentlessly. Here's her tweet:
