Ladakh Institute Leaves Anand Mahindra Impressed By Recycling Old Car Into 'home Roof'

In India, no matter where you go, you will find innovative and efficient methods of recycling and reusing different products. Business Tycoon Anand Mahindra came across one such out of the box idea of recycling. An old car which was in no state to provide any further facility to its owner was used in a unique method. It was converted as a roof of a house has everyone, including Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra, impressed.

Mr. Mahindra on Friday shared a series of photos showing how smartly an old car was recycled and used as an alternative for a roof of a house in Ladakh. According to his tweet, the photos of the creative solution was from Sonam Wangchuk’s Himalayan Institute of Alternatives, “where nothing gets discarded.”

Lauding the unique idea, he said, “Well this will compete with our auto-shredding venture but it’s far more creative!”

Earlier, Chairman of Mahindra Group took to twitter to share a video which he received from his 'Chinese-video-expert-friend' and it seemed as if Anand Mahindra was impressed with the creativity, however, the video also left him wondering.

The video shows a Chinese man carving some shapes and patterns on a watermelon. After which the man makes a cavity on top of the watermelon and scoops out the inner pulp. After spending few minutes, the man turns the watermelon into a beautiful Chinese lamp. Mr Mahindra tweeted the video and wrote:
