Six infants died at a government hospital in Madhya Pradesh's Shahdol on January 13. Madhya Pradesh government on Tuesday ordered a high-level inquiry into the matter. Speaking on the matter, Civil Surgeon In-Charge, Mukund Chaturvedi said, "Administration can't be blamed, infants were brought in highly critical condition. Doctors made efforts to save them. Investigation underway, anyone found guilty will be punished."
