Senior NCP leader and advocate Majeed Menon on Saturday slammed AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi for criticising the Supreme Court's verdict on Ayodhya land dispute. Menon said that Owaisi has no right to reject SC's verdict which offered the Muslim's a separate 5-acre land in a prominent and suitable area in Ayodhya. This comes after the AIMIM chief had earlier said that Muslims should reject SC's offer of separate land. The Supreme Court on Saturday pronounced one of the most remarkable judgements as it pronounced that Hindus will be given the entire disputed land to construct temple whereas Muslims will be given a separate 5-acre land.

Supreme but not infallible: Owaisi
Dissenting to the Supreme Court's unanimous judgment on the Ayodhya dispute, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, on Saturday, stated that the verdict was final but he was dissatisfied with the verdict. Quoting Justice Verma, he said that the 'Supreme Court was Supreme but not infallible'. He also advised the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AMPLB) to reject the SC offer to allot an alternated 5- acre land to construct a mosque. "I agree with AMPLB's views and wish to thank the team of lawyers who fought the case for the Babri Masjid case. I am not satisfied with this judgment. I feel that the Supreme Court is Supreme but not infallible," he said at a press briefing in Hyderabad.
