Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist Nisar Ahmed Tantray has been extradited from the UAE and is now in NIA custody.

In a massive win for India's fight against terror, the government has brought back a dreaded Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist from UAE, say sources.

Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist Nisar Ahmed Tantray has been extradited from the UAE and is now in NIA custody, the sources added. 

Tantray was absconding in the Lethpora CRPF terror attack case of December 30, 2017. Five CRPF jawans were martyred in the attack.

He had escaped to UAE on February 1, 2019. 

Nisar is the younger brother of Jaish commander Noor Tantray who was also killed in the 2017 attack.
