"More power to her": A Pakistani netizen shared a photo of Raksha Mantri Nirmala Sitharaman addressing the Army Commanders’ Conference, here's more of what Pak Twitter users added

On March 8, a Pakistani Twitter user Murtuza Solangi shared the image of Raksha Mantri Nirmala Sitharaman addressing the Army Commanders' Conference.

On the occasion of Women's Day, a Pakistani Twitter user Murtuza Solangi shared the image of Raksha Mantri Nirmala Sitharaman addressing the Army Commanders' Conference.

The image, in which the Raksha Mantri is seated at the head of the table and is surrounded by Indian Army officials and ministers, is exemplary of Indian women taking leadership roles and thriving in it.

Solangi shared the image with the comment, "Not bad of a picture to glance at, on International Women's Day, isn’t it".

It appears that the image has elicited responses from Pakistani Twitter users who have appreciated the powerful position earned by the Raksha Mantri and also aspire for similar roles in top leadership in their government for women. Some also commented on the benefits of living in a democratic country.

The image is from October 2017 when the Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman addressed the Army Commanders’ Conference. 

She had asked the Indian Army to continue to leverage its power in diplomatic defence cooperation in the region. She had also asked them to support the country's ‘Make in India’ initiative and nation-building at all times. She had said the for Centre boosting the morale of the forces is its highest priority.
