Mumbai hotel staff's touching gesture towards customer leaves netizens in awe

Amid the hustle and bustle of daily mundane life, only a few are lucky to have company while having their last meal after a strenuous day. However a simple gesture by a Mumbai hotel to provide company to their guest not only speaks volumes about humanity but is also melting hearts of netizens.

Amid the hustle and bustle of daily mundane life, only a few are lucky to have company while having their last meal after a strenuous day. However a simple gesture by a Mumbai hotel to provide company to their guest not only speaks volumes about humanity but is also melting hearts of netizens.

Prakash Mallya, MD at Intel India, Sales and Marketing Group while on his trip to Mumbai had stopped by one of the restaurants of the Trident hotel in Bandra Kurla complex for a sumptuous meal. 

Seeing their customer having his meal alone, the hotel staff in an empathetic gesture placed a fishbowl at the table to ensure he had some company. This thoughtful gesture by the staff struck a chord with the customer who took to Twitter to share his lovely experience along with the photo of the fishbowl.

The customer was deeply touched by the gesture and expressing his joy he wrote,

Netizens from across domains flooded the Twitter social feed with their regards for the Mumbai hotel for their heartwarming gesture,

The incident took place at the hotel’s Italian specialty restaurant named Botticinno, and the hotel also confirmed that it had been a custom since the restaurant started. The hotel also thanked the customer for sharing the experience.
