NC leader Omar Abdullah retaliating to Satya Pal Malik's appeal to terrorists said that the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir should find out about his own reputation before sanctioning 'unlawful killings and Kangaroo courts'
The former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir in a tweet lashed out at the Governor of the state for 'telling militants to kill politicians'
He said: This man, ostensibly a responsible man occupying a constitutional position, tells militants to kill politicians perceived to be corrupt. Perhaps the man should find out about his own reputation in Delhi these days before sanctioning unlawful killings & kangaroo courts.
Malik sparked a row by appealing to the terrorists in the valley, wherein he asked them to kill 'corrupt politicians' instead of security forces.
The Governor made the statement while addressing the locals at Kargil, wherein he asked terrorists to kill 'corrupt politicians and bureaucrats who have robbed their state,' instead of killing Policemen and SPOs
He said, "These youth with guns, they are killing PSOs and SPOs, why are you killing them? You should kill those who have looted Kashmir, have you killed anyone from them? They lose their lives for nothing. In India, nobody can bend the government with guns."
Earlier in the day, Abdullah backed Imran Khan after the Pakistan Prime Minister found himself in an embarrassing situation when he was not received by any US delegation on his arrival to the US.
Abdullah took to Twitter and said that it reflects badly on the American establishment that they did not come to receive him. In a veiled reference to Indian politicians, he said that "Imran Khan didn't wear his ego on sleeves". He has also asked as to why is Imran Khan being targeted when he just saved his country's money.
