After the Congress issued warning to investigating agencies following the raids at former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda, saying that they the CBI and the ED have been targeting the political opponents of PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, Trinamool Congress leader has Mamata Banerjee jumped in on the 'vendetta allegation' bandwagon.
She tweeted alleging political vendetta being conducted by the BJP through the investigating agencies against the Opposition and its allies from every part of the country.
The West Bengal chief minister also taunted the CBI in her series of tweets, calling it names such as headless agency, spineless BJP, and retweeted her potential political allies AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav who also alleged that the Centre was targeting its political rivals.

On a day where Congress corruption once again became a talking point following CBI raids against former Haryana CM Bhupinder Hooda in the Manesar land deal case and a FIR was lodged against Odisha Congress chief Niranjan Patnaik in a Rs 32 crore fraud case, the party has openly warned probe agencies, threatening revenge against personnel once a new government comes to power.
Addressing a briefing on the matter, senior Congress leader Anand Sharma said that action would be taken against those who are involved in "harassing and defaming Modi and Shah's political rivals"
