'Oye Jingle Balle Balle': Anand Mahindra sends social media into frenzy with this Desi Christmas wish

While people have various ways to wish 'Merry Christmas' to each other on social media, Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra shared a desi version of the popular Christmas carol 'Jingle Bells' and netizens went into a frenzy.

The world is celebrating the festival of Christmas with joys and cheers. The festive season is upon us and there are so many colourful lights and decorations all around us. On the festive occasion of Christmas, we witness people singing carols all over the world and one carol that every individual loves is the 'Jingle Bells' that spreads cheerful joy everywhere.

While people have various ways to wish 'Merry Christmas' to each other on social media, Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra shared a desi version of the popular Christmas carol 'Jingle Bells' and netizens went into a frenzy.

In the video clip, a group of musicians performed the carol and gave it 'desi' touch using Dhols adding Punjabi music beats to it. Taking to Twitter, he captioned the video by saying, “Now I don’t think I’ll ever be able to hear jingle bells without hearing the sound of dhols in my head…Oye Jingle Balle Balle! A very Merry Christmas to all".

While you may think this version of 'Jingle Bells' is cool, another version of the song has been making the rounds on the social media featuring a 'Mumbai style' Christmas carol. The 2 minutes 20 seconds viral animated video of Jingle Bells shows Mumbai city in a whole new way.
