While India's pre-emptive strikes on terror camps in Pakistan were hailed Tuesday by people across the country, Adnan Sami, a former Pakistani had a note for trolls.

In a tweet, the singer who now holds Indian citizenship took a strong stand and stood against the trolls from Pakistan, telling them that it is about 'eliminating terrorists' and not about 'egos being given a reality check'

His tweet read:

"Dear Pak trolls, It's not about your egos being given a reality check today; it's about eliminating terrorists who you ‘claim’ are also your enemies! Your Ostrich mentality is laughable. By the way, your abuses expose your reality and therefore the only difference between you and a bucket of rubbish is the bucket!"

India woke up with the news of revenge on Tuesday, February 26, as the Indian government announced the success of the second surgical strike on Pakistan based terrorist camps following the one in 2016. The Indian Air Force struck and destroyed Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camps across the Line of Control in a pre-dawn operation on Tuesday, February 26. As per sources, the strike, carried out by 12 of the IAF's Mirage 2000 fighters, lasted up to 21 minutes and was carried out at three locations.

In the days following the attack, the Indian government, including the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, have made clear that the Armed Forces had been given a free rein to avenge the attack.  As per media reports, six bombs were dropped on the terrorist camps by the Indian Air Force Mirage 2000s.
