The tragic terror attack on CRPF personnel in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday has left the entire country in shock and mourning. In one of the most gruesome terror attack led by Pakistan-backed Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) suicide bomber, 40 CRPF personnel were martyred.

While India on Friday gave a hard-hitting response to Pakistan over its continuous support to the terror outfits in their soil, a Pak daily 'The Nation' has hailed the JeM terrorist, who perpetrated the heinous terror attack on our CRPF soldiers, as a "freedom fighter".

"Refusing to bow down to the ever-increasing Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir, the 'freedom fighters' on Thursday struck back hard at the occupational forces", reads the report by Pakistan daily.

The report by 'The Nation' goes on to state that "Indian government is trying to give the tragic incident a 'terrorism colour'. While the JeM claimed responsibility of the Pulwama on Thursday through a telephonic message to a global network agency, the Pak daily states that a spokesperson of the terrorist Masood Azhar-led terror outfit said “JeM has nothing to do with it”.

"The Indian government tried to give the incident terrorism colour claiming that Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Muhammad was behind it but the JeM was quick to trash the statement of Indian foreign ministry saying New Delhi was trying to take away the credit from the valiant Kashmir youth. a Jaish spokesman added." the report further reads.

In the wake of the Pak-based Jaish-e-Mohammad's Terror attack in Pulwama, Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement which termed the location of the attack as 'Indian Occupied Kashmir'.

"We strongly reject any insinuation by elements in the Indian media and government that seek to link the attack to Pakistan without investigations", read an excerpt from the Pakistan statement on the attack.
