Maj Gaurav Arya's Patriot celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Wagah ceremony in Amritsar with the BSF troops guarding the International border in the region.

In the episode, Major Gaurav Arya spent time with the troops who represent India during the very high voltage ceremonies at the Wagah border, where every evening the two neighbours, India and Pakistan come face to face putting up an animated version of the drill for the people of the two nations who witness it at the venue.

The soldiers while sharing their emotions on the matter state, "it is a matter of pride for us to be here, representing India and nothing comes close to the adrenaline rush we get when we see our countrymen cheer on for us from the stand. We do our best and put in our best so as to never disappoint our people."

Maj Arya went to interview the female commanders in the BSF and they too echoed the same sentiment, that it is the nation before self. One of the lady commanders pointed out briskly that for her, " It is the duty to serve which comes first and hence we must train hard to face the enemy from the other side who will never discriminate before firing a bullet in our direction regardless of my gender."

Others who provide security across the riverways in the region and guard the Pakistan travellers on the train crossing over into India through Wagah reiterated the popular stance that once the Pakistani civilians enter into India, it is the BSF which provides them with physical security and makes sure they travel safely.

"Our men and women are highly motivated. They understand the sheer magnitude of what they are doing and hence you will never see a frown on their faces. Be it in good health or bad we always stand tall guarding our country."
