On the first day of the Modi-Xi summit, both leaders had five hours of discussions apart from exploring Mamallapuram. In the meeting, they spoke about issues related to terrorism and radicalization. They agreed that the fabric of their multi-cultural and multi-religious should not be disturbed. Furthermore, they tried to identify potential areas for investment. The second day will be marked by PM Modi’s private conversation with the Chinese President. It is expected to last for about 40 minutes. This will be followed by delegation-level talks. Subsequently, the PM will host lunch in the honour of Xi Jinping. The latter will then leave for Nepal from the Chennai International Airport.
