Thanking Russian President Vladimir Putin on receiving the ‘Order of St. Andrew The Apostle’ on Friday, PM Narendra Modi has expressed his faith in the bright future of Indo-Russia partnership and the deep foundations of the countries.

Thanking Russian President Vladimir Putin on receiving the ‘Order of St. Andrew The Apostle’ on Friday, PM Narendra Modi has expressed his faith in the bright future of Indo-Russia partnership and the deep foundations of the countries. He has also attributed the favourable outcome for their respective citizens to the two nations’ extensive cooperation.
He further praised the Russian President for his friendship and his visionary leadership which has led to new heights in bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two nations.
Earlier on the same day, Russia had awarded Prime Minister Narendra Modi with its highest order of the Russian Federation, an order of chivalry called the 'St Andrew the Apostle the First-Called'. PM Modi was given this award for his 'exceptional services in promoting a special and privileged strategic partnership between Russia and India', said the tweet by Russian Embassy in India.
The President of Russia’s official Twitter handle too had announced the award conferred on PM Modi for his outstanding achievements in promoting Indo-Russian partnership.
